We all know the love of a mom...

For most of us, she's the one who gave birth to us. For others, she's the one who adopted us. And for some... she's the one who stepped into our lives at a time we really needed her, or the one observed from a distance making a difference in the lives of others.

88.3 The Wind and Modern Exteriors of Springfield want to know how you would describe this relationship in your life in a poem, essay or short story.

Make it Real Special

Submit Online

If writing is more your speed, submit your musings in 200 words or less and email it to 883@88.3TheWind.com. Make sure to include the name of the woman you are honoring as well as your own your full name, mailing address and phone number. Oh, and make sure to include your age, too. Children's stories can be accepted, but only when submitted by a parent or guardian who also include their full name and address. (see full contest rules below)

Contest Rules/Restrictions

1. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
2. Only one entry per person.
3. Must be 18 years of age to submit an entry (stories by children will be accepted for entry, but only when submitted on their behalf by a parent or guardian over 18).
4. Full names, mailing address and phone numbers required on each entry.
5. Prizes are: TBA at the discretion of 88.3 The Wind
6. If the value of any prize package exceeds the IRS threshold for prizes ($600), it will incur taxes on the part of the recipient. An IRS form must be filled out by the claimant before accepting the prize package.
7. 88.3 The Wind reserves the right to modify contest rules as it deems necessary, or substitute listed prizes for items of equal value.
